Responsibilities

  • Reporting to CFO and supporting CFO in day-to-day financial and tax affairs, regulatory reporting and ALM control.
  • Compliance with the Conduct Rules set out in the FCA Handbook and the PRA Rulebook.
  • In addition to the responsibilities summarised above you are required to comply at all times with the Conduct Rules set out in the FCA Handbook and the PRA Rulebook.
  • Conduct/Review daily Liquidity risk analysis including LCR calculation and periodic Interest rate and FX risks analysis in Banking Book.
  • Assist in monitoring assets and liabilities and ensure they are managed in an appropriate and effective manner.
  • Prepare all Finance related regulatory returns to PRA and BoE.
  • Implement and test an automated regulatory reporting system for PRA, BoE Statistical and prudential reporting.
  • Develop working relationships with Head Office and other overseas branches\' Finance and ALM teams.
  • Review periodic CT and VAT returns and work with the tax advisors.
  • Review bank reconciliations, business expenses payment processing and ledger postings.
  • Support Finance team in IT system testing and updates.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring financial plans and budgets.
  • Assist the Finance team in monthly management information preparation and analysis, and in improving the financial reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory policy, proposals and consultation papers related to Finance.
  • Assist in developing Finance and Accounting policies, implementation of systems as necessary, and help with the preparation and provision of financial statements and reports.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors on the Finance department\'s audit.
  • Act as a back up for the Finance team and CFO when required.
  • Any other reasonable tasks assigned by the CFO.
  • You may be required to take minutes of the Finance related meetings.

Qualifications

  • Fluent level of Mandarin and English.
  • Fully qualified, with relevant experience in Banking / Finance / Insurance / Big 4 sector.
