Overview

Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is partnering with a leading organisation based in Milton Keynes to find an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing finance team on a permanent basis.

In this position, you will work closely with the Head of Finance to oversee and improve the Accounts Payable function while supporting wider finance initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth processes, accurate reporting, and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Oversee invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs
  • Act as the main point of contact for supplier and internal AP queries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and controls
  • Support system improvements and process enhancements
  • Produce AP reports for senior management

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experienced in Accounts Payable management within a fast-paced business
  • Qualified by experience, AAT qualified, or part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience with SAP HANA (essential)
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days in the Milton Keynes office)
