Accounts Senior - Northampton (Full or Part-Time) | 7-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 pro rata for part-time). Hybrid & Flexible Working Available. Temporary maternity cover.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies)
• Review corporation tax computations
• Manage assignments across multiple sectors
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Liaise with seniors, managers, and partners
• Utilise software such as CCH, Sage, Xero, IRIS
• Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
• 3+ years UK practice experience
• Strong FRS102 1A knowledge
• Advantageous: SRA, consolidated, charity, international accounts
• Degree (2:1 or higher) or strong A-Level results
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Strong Excel and IT skills
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented
