Accounts Technician – Newry

Black Fox Solutions are currently working with a successful and growing Accountancy practice based in Newry who are seeking to appoint their new Accounts Technician to join them on a permanent basis, offering a competitive salary, flexible working options and a chance to develop your professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts for clients across a range of sectors.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as required.
• Support the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns.
• Communicate with clients regularly to gather necessary information and maintain strong professional relationships.

What you\'ll need

• Previous experience in an Accountancy practice
• Ideally with a relevant accounting qualification (Desired)
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Has excellent communication skills and is comfortable liaising with clients
