Overview
Join our Life Pricing team as an Actuarial Analyst and gain hands-on experience in long-term life insurance pricing. You will sharpen actuarial and data science skills and contribute to the company’s financial strategy and sustainable growth.
Working pattern
Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working.

As an Actuarial Analyst in Life Pricing, contribute to pricing initiatives and apply your actuarial and data science knowledge in a commercial setting to support financial growth.
Key Actions
- Apply the Actuarial Control Cycle: cleanse, validate, and analyse data; build and maintain pricing models; document assumptions and assess risks; report findings and monitor performance.

- Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.

What you need to thrive
- A bachelor’s degree in maths, statistics or equivalent.
- Student membership of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent; working towards actuarial qualification.
- MS Office skills: Excel (intermediate), Word/PowerPoint (basic).
- Experience in financial services, particularly in health or life insurance.
- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and processing (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio).
- Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization/dashboarding tools.
- Knowledge of Python and data processing libraries (e.g. pandas, numpy).
