About us

Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and Wellbeing in the Vale of Glamorgan is recruiting for an ALN Support worker to support the ALN team in conducting its statutory functions in relation the ALN Act 2018 and the ALN Code. To provide support for the Directorate’s Safeguarding Officer. The department has an excellent track record and enjoys good relationships with schools in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an exciting time of change where new systems are being implemented and developed, which will result in better and more personalised outcomes for children and young people.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 4 SCP 5 - 7 £25,583 – £26,403 p.a. pro rata

Hours of Work: 37 hours

Main Place of Work: Civic Offices and remote home working

To provide administrative support for the ALN case work Team and the Directorate’s Safeguarding Officer.

About you

You will need:

  • Experience of administration, liaising with colleagues, and other agencies
  • Knowledge of ICT packages.
  • Good communication skills
