ADHD Senior AdministratorPsicon

The ADHD Senior Administrator plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily reviews across the service, ensuring timely administration and managing appointment schedules, handling prescription requests, coordinating clinician cover, and facilitating patient transfers. You will work closely with the ADHD team lead, supporting audits and quality management initiatives, and ensuring adherence to service delivery targets. Managing NHS prescriptions and maintaining precise patient records are integral to this role.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of the ADHD medication review caseload and administration of ADHD caseload across the lifespan based on need.
  • Monitoring appointment gaps, missed cash up, and other care pathways. Disseminating priorities to the wider team where necessary and in conjunction with the ADHD team lead.
  • Monitoring prescription requests to ensure sufficient writing slots and organising cover in cases of clinician absence or sickness.
  • Monitoring for wrong age or out of area patients and ensuring their care is transferred.
  • Monitoring clients waiting to be discharged by a clinician and liaising with them to complete this.
  • Assisting the Quality Management team with the investigation of complaints, non-conformance deviations, adverse incidents, and near misses.

Person Specification

  • Ability to collate, present, and interpret data or desire to learn.
  • Confidence to raise concerns with management if targets/KPIs are not being met or at risk of not being met.
  • Experience of using EMIS is essential.
  • Experience of working within an ADHD administration role would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal & judgment skills.
  • Experience of working to KPI targets and tight deadlines whilst balancing competing priorities within a busy environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm professional demeanor.
  • Committed to providing the best quality service and achieving the highest standards of client care.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals.
