Administrative Officer (QA and Student Experience) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) – Department of Anthropology. Salary from £36,513 to £41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance. LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of assessments
  • Support and enhance student experience through the delivery of academic and extra-curricular activities
  • Monitor the Department’s compliance with quality assurance measures
  • Administer the Department’s undergraduate exchange programmes
  • Daily contact with students, including providing face-to-face, email and telephone support
  • Explain the School’s and the Department’s policies and regulations
  • Use spreadsheets, databases and other systems to manipulate and transfer data; apply weightings to calculate overall course marks

Qualifications and Skills

  • Considerable experience in an administrative role with accurate records management
  • Highly numerate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand and explain School and Department policies and regulations
