Service Manager – Adult Mental Health

Location: South East UK

Rate: £450 per day Inside IR35

Contract: 6 months initially, likely to extend

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working – 1 day per week on site, flexible

Start: ASAP

Reporting to: Head of Service

You will be joining a busy Local Authority as part of the Mental Health team. You will line manage around four direct reports and ensure the service is performing to the required standards.

About your role as Service Manager

1. Management of the locality team
2. Managing direct reports and oversight of the larger team
3. Reporting to the Head of Service
4. Proactive work to implement change

About you as a Service Manager

• Substantial experience managing a Mental Health team or AMHP service
• Confident in dealing with key stakeholders, as well as managing up and down
• Understanding of all current Legislation
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Background in Mental Health / AMHP / BIA
