This position may also be considered as a training role under Annex 21 of the Agenda for Change terms & conditions.

We are seeking highly motivated staff to join our advanced practitioner teams within primary care in NHS Forth Valley.

Key features of these roles include:

• GP practice-based roles involving triaging and assessing urgent care presentations, including home visits if appropriate.
• Flexible working arrangements to promote work/life balance, including part-time hours and various shift patterns (e.g., 8-6, 8-4, 9-5).

Applicants should be experienced and capable of prioritising fluctuating workloads, working across professional boundaries, and demonstrating flexibility.

Essential Qualifications for Band 7:

• HEI-accredited Clinical Examination & History Taking course
• HEI-accredited Clinical Decision-Making module with a primary care focus

Highly Desirable:

• Previous advanced practice experience
• Experience in autonomous practice in primary care or out-of-hours settings
• Experience managing undifferentiated urgent presentations, such as as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner
