Overview

Advanced Occupational Therapy Practitioner role based mainly in the South of Nottinghamshire (Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe). This is a permanent, part-time position (18.5 hours per week) with hybrid working arrangements. The work base is at Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston, NG9 2AR, with the potential to discuss alternate arrangements during the interview process.

Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum (pro rata).

Responsibilities

  • Join the Community Team across South Nottinghamshire and contribute to developing therapy-led services that work with people in their communities to maximise strengths, assets and resources.
  • Collaborate with health and social care colleagues, carers and people with lived experience to deliver a strengths-based approach and improve equity and opportunities for those needing support.
  • Support staff and management with high-quality services, maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, and help deliver high performance.
  • Progress to a senior role with support from Advanced Occupational Therapy practitioners and the Team Manager.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Practice Educator status and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication skills to support staff, management and external partners.
