Are you an experienced and dedicated social care professional looking for a dynamic and impactful role? Join our Emergency Duty Team, where we provide critical out-of-hours support to adults, children, and individuals experiencing mental health crises across Bury and Rochdale Local Authorities.

About the Role:

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering emergency interventions and conducting Mental Health Act assessments. This is a fast-paced, rewarding position that requires resilience, sound judgment, and a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency response and crisis intervention for children, adults, and those with mental health needs.
• Undertake Mental Health Act assessments as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure timely and effective support.
• Operate remotely with access to a base in Bury & Rochdale when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in both Children’s and Adults’ Social Care.
• Must be a qualified AMHP.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and assessment skills.

Working Pattern:

• Full-time (37 hours per week).
• Based on a 3-week rolling rota, covering 24/7 shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
