Overview

Walsall Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join the Adults Team on a three-month fixed-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to support daily team operations in adult social care, providing management oversight and professional guidance while working in a hybrid schedule with at least two days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight and support to the Adults Team, facilitating daily operational management.
• Conduct supervision for both qualified and unqualified team members to ensure quality assurance and professional development.
• Oversee safeguarding enquiries, offering critical expertise and guidance to the team.
• Manage team workloads, waiting lists, and allocations to promote efficient workflow and high-quality client service.
• Implement strategies for effective management of resources and personnel within the team.
• Hybrid Working: Enjoy flexibility with the ability to work from home while maintaining vital in-office collaboration at least two days per week.
