Overview

Spider is recruiting an Affiliate Manager on behalf of a digital marketing agency who are working with some excellent brands and pride themselves on their culture, values and development opportunities. This is a remote role with occasional travel to Hull.

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead affiliate activity for clients, and develop and execute strategy in line with client objectives, with guidance from the strategy team.
  • Track and report performance against targets and KPIs; investigate and troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and cultivate positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Support with creation and delivery of the agreed affiliate workplan and manage affiliate activity in line with client objectives.
  • Use multiple affiliate network platforms independently to ensure accurate delivery and reporting of client performance, troubleshoot issues, and own publisher relationships.
  • Analyse performance issues and opportunities, working with strategy and product teams to implement solutions.
  • Assist with budgeting (including commissions and spend) across multiple clients; help maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and to a high standard; report on KPIs daily/weekly/monthly and explain the reasons behind performance.
  • Lead regular client calls and attend meetings, presenting where appropriate and contributing to discussions.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver a right-first-time service.

Qualifications/What were looking for

  • Experience in an agency environment is preferable but not essential.
  • Account management/ client-facing experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the affiliate/partnership marketing space.
  • Organised and efficient, able to prioritise multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience with affiliate platforms such as Awin, CJ, TD, Impact, Webgains.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail; thorough and data-driven.
  • Interest in up-to-date affiliate marketing best practices.
  • Ability to analyse performance issues and opportunities.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with analytics packages such as GA or Adobe Analytics.

Offer and logistics

Flexible start/finish times, with every other Friday off. Role can be worked remotely; some monthly travel to the East Yorkshire office and client meetings is required. Salary up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible hours, progression opportunities, up to 29 days\' holiday per year (plus bank holidays).
