Are you a driven Manager with a passion for providing excellent customer service? We have a fantastic opportunity as an Aftercare Manager within our Built Environment Directorate on a permanent basis.

You'll be based at our office in Hurn. This role combines office and home working to ensure a positive work/life balance.

The Role

The role involves providing an exceptional aftercare service efficiently and effectively for internal and external stakeholders. This includes managing and resolving defects across the SNG project portfolio, handling customer calls, claims, defect inspections, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities include

• Managing customers' after they move into their new homes and during the first year of occupation.
• Reviewing residents' manuals and conducting home demonstrations with homeowners.
• Providing regular updates and communicating with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate customer contact details and technical files on all aspects of the aftercare service.
• Taking ownership of complex defects, overseeing investigations, and coordinating remedial works until resolution.
• Organizing and completing end-of-defects inspections, attending site inspections, and ensuring works are completed satisfactorily.

What we need from you

• A strong commitment to excellent aftercare service principles.
• Understanding of building warranties and contracts, and how they differ between projects.
• A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Good written and IT skills (Microsoft Office), strong oral communication, and numerical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, plan, and deliver a varied workload.
• Attention to detail in validating information and diagnosing defects.
• A flexible approach, including occasional weekend or evening work as needed.
