AI Engineer (Digital Advisory)

Join WSP's AI Accelerator team as an AI Engineer and help design and build prototype AI solutions for real-world challenges. You will work with WSP UK and Ireland across Azure cloud environments to deliver bespoke AI solutions to internal stakeholders and, where opportunity arises, to client projects.
What you will do
- Collaborate with experts across WSP to design and build prototype AI solutions that address real-world challenges.
- Transition successful prototypes into full-scale deployments to transform operations and services for clients.
- Work within the Data & Decision Science function in the Transformation and Digital Insights team in Azure environments.
- Partner with consultancy teams to understand business problems and identify opportunities to leverage AI for transformation.
- Engage with clients across market sectors as appropriate and turn ideas into practical applications.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate
- Proven experience designing and developing AI solutions, preferably in Azure.
- Experience with Azure AI technologies such as Azure AI Foundry.
- Experience working with LLMs and Agentic AI on real-world problems.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Experience deploying AI models into production environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in AI technologies.
