We're seeking an experienced AI Consultant / Engineer to join an innovative technology team focused on developing intelligent solutions that make a tangible impact.

Key skills required for this role

Responsibilities include:

• Building and refining LLM-based agents, including retrieval-augmented generation and data retrieval systems.
• Designing AI-powered system architecture using Python, Java, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Fine-tuning models (LLMs & SLMs) and developing machine learning applications to achieve measurable results.
• Staying updated with open-source AI trends and integrating the best tools into the tech stack.
• Prototyping, testing, and refining AI applications to enhance accuracy and performance.
• Writing clean, modular Python code and performing rapid data processing and feature engineering.
• Identifying and prioritising AI implementation opportunities based on business needs.
• Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience:

• Strong experience with Gen AI, NLP, and machine learning.
• Proven ability to create, train, and fine-tune LLMs/SLMs.
• Skills in prompt engineering and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with crawling/web scraping and API development.
• Experience with on-premise AI development, including local LLMs and open-source frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and solution architecture.
