Mode Search is exclusively partnered with a global luxury fashion house in the search for an Allocation & Shipping Planner to be based out of their London offices.
This is a rare opportunity to join a prestigious fashion brand renowned for its bold aesthetic, expert tailoring, and a reputation for pushing creative boundaries. With a deep-rooted heritage and a strong London presence, this house blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation, commanding global attention across ready-to-wear, accessories, and show collections.
This role will be based five days per week in the office for the first month. Following this, the position will move to a hybrid model with one day per week working from home.
As Allocation & Shipping Planner, you will be a key part of the Customer Service team, responsible for the effective allocation and timely distribution of product across global channels. You’ll work closely with supply chain, warehouse, and regional teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with commercial priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the allocation and distribution of product using internal systems
- Planning shipments from the central warehouse to global regions and wholesale partners
- Monitoring incoming orders for accuracy and proactively resolving issues
- Coordinating shipments for product launches and special projects
- Working with brand supply chain teams to align delivery targets with business needs
- Providing clear and compliant picking lists to warehouse teams
- Acting as the main point of contact between Customer Service and Warehouse operations
- Supporting system and technical tools for order and inventory management
- Collaborating with planning and warehouse teams to ensure capacity aligns with shipment volumes
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in allocation, shipping planning, or customer service within the fashion or luxury sector
- Be fluent in both English and Italian (spoken and written)
- Be confident using Excel and ideally experienced with systems such as AS400 or SAP
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Be proactive, organised, and a strong team player
