SEI is seeking to hire an Operations Alternative Specialist in our SEI Wealth Platform Business. The SEI Wealth Platform (the Platform) is an outsourcing solution for wealth managers encompassing wealth processing services and wealth management programs, combined with business process expertise. With the Platform, SEI provides wealth management organizations with the infrastructure, operations, and administrative support necessary to capitalize on their strategic objectives in a constantly shifting market. The Platform supports trading and transactions on 156 stock exchanges in 58 countries and 51 currencies, through the use of straight-through processing and a single operating infrastructure environment. Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide critical input to define requirements, processes, and controls shaping the operational model for SEI Alternatives service.
  2. Operate and enhance operational procedures, processes, and controls, while managing day-to-day activities.
  3. Apply specialist knowledge of Private Equities / Credit and Hedge Funds to support ongoing business.
  4. Handle complex queries and resolve client and internal issues.
  5. Support risk & control self-assessment (RCSA) processes, including monitoring risk registers, analyzing risk indicators, and reporting operational risk events.
  6. Work with the business and control functions to identify and address risks.
  7. Conduct root cause analyses of operational risk events and monitor process controls.
  8. Contribute to the development of SIEL’s Operational Resilience framework in line with regulatory requirements.
  9. Identify important business services, validate impact tolerances, and test resilience scenarios.
  10. Maintain communication plans for service disruptions and conduct resilience training.
  11. Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
  12. Participate in ad-hoc projects and ensure risk management policies are followed.
