Duties and ResponsibilitiesKYC and Compliance:Execute the Know Your Customer (KYC) process for new customers, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standardsOnboard customers, both international individuals and legal entities, through established procedures, ensuring a smooth and compliant processConduct due diligence checks on the bank's customers, evaluating customer information before and during business relationships. Document findings and make recommendations for actionCollaboration and Communication:Respond to information requests from company partners, including correspondent banks and service providersMaintain daily communication with team members and other departments to streamline the onboarding processVerification and Analysis:Review and verify customer profiles and supporting documents, maintaining compliance with internal protocolsAnalyze voluminous datasets to form well-reasoned arguments, making autonomous decisions when necessaryCompliance and Reporting:Follow the bank's compliance protocols and the directives of the Head of AML or Money Laundering Reporting OfficerReport potentially suspicious transactions or circumstances indicative of money laundering, sanctions breaches, or attempted evasionPrepare statistical and operational reports regarding transactions, clients, and accounting positionsRequirementsExperience and Skills:Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial institutions focusing on AML and KYC fieldsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for effective execution of KYC proceduresDemonstrated high level of responsibility and a positive attitude in all interactionsAbility to remain resilient and perform effectively under pressureTechnical Proficiency:Proficient in computer use, particularly software and platforms relevant to onboarding processesOpen to learning and adapting to new technologiesProficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantageous attributeCommunication:Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are requiredWork Mode:This position may offer a hybrid work model, combining in-office work with remote work flexibilityHow to ApplyQualified candidates are invited to submit their resumes along with a cover letter outlining their suitability for the role, emphasizing their experience in AML and KYC procedures within financial institutions.
