Role Overview
One of the core products of Silver Birch is its Inventory finance offering – optimising working capital for corporates through the creation of bespoke structures in their inventory supply chains. Our structures enable our corporate clients to manage their inventory, reduce costs, and mitigate risks across physical supply chains. Our deep knowledge and considered approach ensure optimal outcomes tailored to the specific requirements of each client. We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join the firm as an Analyst or Associate (depending on experience) in the Inventory Product Team, reporting directly to the Head of Inventory and playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Support the Inventory team deliver solutions to our corporate clients
- Assist in preparing term sheets and heads of terms summarising the inventory transactions
- Assist in preparing pricing models
- Prepare structure slides for, and support origination team on, client pitches
- Support operations teams on deal execution
Qualifications
- We are looking for candidates with potential rather than finished article
- Curiosity and willingness to learn key
- Successful candidate likely to have had a few years work experience either in a bank or a corporate
- Good grasp of financial and credit issues would be helpful
- Experience working in a commodities trader would be useful

Silver Birch operates a hybrid work environment: All London-based employees are expected to be in the London office on at least Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
