Overview

Analyst - Global Finance Systems at QBE Europe. 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time, hybrid role with locations in London / Leeds.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Finance and IT teams to support system incidents, enhancements, and solutions.
  • Drive meeting readiness by proactively sourcing and validating data from relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and execute plans that enhance business capability.
  • Work with tools like ServiceNow and Jira, tracking progress and ensuring visibility of moving pieces.
  • Support production tasks and contribute to system and process improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships across departments to drive positive change in analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Finance background – Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong interpersonal skills – confident, personable, and proactive in stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and how finance processes integrate with technology.
  • Comfortable navigating systems and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and other finance platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
