Role Summary and Impact
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as an analytics & insights manager.
Accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our executions and for delivering insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver at EssenceMediacom Scotland. You will be Supporting analyses for campaigns and helping the development of new analytical tools.

- Take ownership of revealing new, and better, insights about our clients’ audiences, media and investments in-campaign and post-campaign analysis
- Quantify the impact of media on business outcomes and hypothesis and collaborate around how to make media more effective at delivering growth
- Understand and strategize around the connectivity of marketing technology across demand-side platforms (DSPs), analytics, ad server, cloud and CRM.
Measures of success
In three months, you would have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to apply analytics & insights products/functions/features
- An understanding of analytics & insights role in delivering growth for clients and how it enables other parts of the planning & buying functions
- Worked on a client account, demonstrating your understanding of their business objectives
In six months, you would have:
- Collaborated with other Disciplines to develop a holistic media campaign
- Delivered in-campaign analytics for a media plan and provided post-campaign analysis to a client
- Received positive feedback from a client on your insightful findings
In 12 months, you would have:
- Developed a reputation of expertise within the agency for analytics & insight
- On-boarded analytics & insight discipline into our key client accounts
- Begin educating our people on how to get more from analytics & insight
- Played an active role on a new business pitch
Responsibilities of the role
- Take ownership of measurement for designated clients/projects
- Collaborate with account teams to identify opportunities where our analytics offering can add value
- Understand on ad technology and the inter-connecting relationships of how data is shared across DSP, Ad Server, Analytics & CRM.
- Gain an understanding of marketing plans and their objectives to be able to assist with comprehensive measurement and test & learn plans
- Develop analytical techniques to analyse results from experiments/studies/observations
- Explore methods/techniques for solving business problems given the data available (1st to 3rd-party)
- Help internal and external clients understand the capability and limitations of methods used
- Develop and present compelling and innovative presentations
