OverviewAn exciting role for a Chamber Manager to join the team and manage our new state of the art anechoic test facility. The Anechoic Chamber Manager will be responsible for both the management of the facility and working with project teams to execute test campaigns. This multi-million pound test facility will be key to MBDA's work, testing antenna performance and assessing RCS. You will be involved in booking the facility, managing its budget and maintenance, and supporting the planning of test campaigns, data capture and analysis. You will provide advice on capabilities, interfacing with project teams, and lead or participate in chamber configuration activities.ResponsibilitiesManage the facility availability and bookings, budget, and maintenance planning.Collaborate with project teams to plan test campaigns and support test data capture and analysis.Provide expertise on capabilities and act as an interface for chamber configuration activities.Lead or participate in chamber configuration and related activities to support testing needs.QualificationsExperience with lab or facility based radiated RF testing, such as assessing antenna characteristics, EMC, RCS or other electromagnetic field based measurements.Experience in first-level technical investigations into facility performance issues, provide problem assessments, and propose solutions.Experience with reconfiguring equipment; lifting and slinging experience is beneficial.Knowledge of health and safety compliance.Strong organisational skills and experience in the test domain.Able to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team.Security and EligibilitySalary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification and use of facility.Security Clearance: British Citizen required. Must be willing to undergo DV clearance.
