We're on the hunt for an Animator to join our super-talented team. This isn't just about making things move; it's about creating those dazzling, memorable moments that make our players smile, cheer, and keep coming back for more. Think dynamic intros, vibrant wins, and everything in between that makes our games feel truly alive!
What you'll be getting up to (a typical day might look like this):
You'll be right at the heart of our game development cycle, working hand-in-hand with our clever R&D folks to understand their vision and sprinkle your animation magic. You’ll be:
- Brainstorming Brilliance: Feeding back on game designs to ensure they're just perfect for animation.
- Blueprint Buddies: Teaming up with developers to scope out projects and create awesome asset plans.
- Crafting the Cool Stuff: Creating those visually rich animations using all sorts of techniques and tools for review.
- Polish & Perfect: Taking feedback like a champ and refining animations until they're absolutely spot-on.
- Optimisation whiz: Making sure everything runs smoothly and looks ace on mobile, ready for our players!
- Team Player: Working closely with the wider game team to build and improve seriously engaging game products.
- Creative Communicator: Even helping out with snazzy monthly motion graphic videos to keep everyone in the loop on our game studio's latest delights!
- Juggling Genius: Balancing your workload across multiple exciting projects.
The Must-Haves:
- You know your animation principles – think squash and stretch, anticipation, timing… the good stuff!
- You're comfortable with digital animation software and tools.
- An iterative approach? That's how we roll! You're happy to refine and improve.
- You can chat confidently with developers, other animators, and project managers – teamwork makes the dream work!
- Creating optimised animations for real-time games is your jam.
- You know how to make assets shine on mobile platforms.
- You've got a feel for the Tombola brand – we like things fun, friendly, and visually fab!
- Dabbled in video editing and production? Brilliant!
- Got some 3D software skills up your sleeve? Even better!
- A bit of graphic design knowledge? Handy!
- Comfortable with the Adobe Suite? Ace!
- Experience with Spine? You’re speaking our language!
- An understanding of how developers technically implement animations into games? You’ll fit right in!
- Laser-focused when it counts!
- An eye for detail that would make a pixel proud.
- Consistent in your approach – reliability is key.
- A true collaborator, always happy to work with others.
- You can articulate your animation ideas clearly and creatively.
- You're great at giving and receiving feedback – it helps us all grow!
- Super organised – you'll be balancing lots of exciting projects.
- You're a master of time management and prioritisation.
- Able to switch gears and context across different tasks seamlessly.
You'll be making a huge difference to our products and player experience! We're talking richer, more interactive visuals that will really wow our users.
