Job SummaryLooking for an Technical Architect that shall define, develop and maintain the Application Programming Interfaces for specific business functional/technical areas and provide high-level roadmaps for the implementation of robust API solutions, aligning to a common technical direction ensuring accomplishment of the roadmaps.Work Flexibility2 days on-site hybrid is mandatory and 3 days remote.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and define API architecture and standards.Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable API solutions.Ensure API security, reliability, and performance.Establish and enforce best practices for API development.Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools.Document architectural decisions and API specifications.Mentor and guide software engineers on API-related topics.Review and improve existing API implementations.Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and align API strategy.Monitor API usage and optimize for scalability and efficiency.RequirementsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.Proven experience designing and implementing APIs.Strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL API design principles.Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.Familiarity with API security standards and best practices.Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.Experience with API management tools and platforms.Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.Competency and knowledge monitoring of emerging technologies.Excellent solution assessment skills.Participation, positioning, and presentation in relevant engineering architecture governance forums or related forums (internal and/or external associations) and act as quorum member or chairperson at the relevant technology architecture governance.Nice to HaveStrong communication and documentation abilities.Stakeholder management.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Mandatory Skills & ExperienceAPI Architect – Minimum 3 years as architect.Microservice development with Java and Spring Boot – Minimum 8 years.Exposure to Java 17+ – Mandatory.Understanding of domain‑driven design, microservices, and service orchestration – Mandatory.Skills in RDBMS and NoSQL database querying, procedures, optimization, and troubleshooting – Mandatory.Knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC – Mandatory.Understanding of microservice design patterns – EDA, SAGA, Circuit breaker – Mandatory.Experience building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployments, and rollback strategies – Mandatory.Proven experience with system architecture, API design, and scalable application patterns – Mandatory.Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies – Mandatory.Hands‑on experience in GCP, Azure, or AWS cloud – At least 3 years. #J-18808-Ljbffr
