About the Job You're Considering
Our SAP Packaged Based Solutions Practice team supports and implements SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) solutions for our client, which is the largest implementation of its kind globally. We are a dynamic and fast-moving business unit, with an expectation of further growth over the coming years to ensure that we can continue to deliver high quality SAP solutions.
We are looking for the next generation of SAP consultants who will be responsible for delivering enhancements and project work relating to the TRM solution. This is a challenging and multi‑faceted role that requires the most current functional knowledge of SAP solutions as well as excellent client‑facing skills. Hybrid working is expected – a blend of company offices, client sites, and home, but you will not be able to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
- Attend and lead workshops with the client to understand requirements and articulate the solution
- Write design documentation, such as blueprints and functional specifications
- Configure the SAP solution to meet the client requirements
- Support developers during the build phase and complete initial testing of the solution
- Support testers to ensure that they understand the solution and it is tested appropriately
- Ensure that the solution is successfully delivered to the live system and an appropriate handover to live services is completed
Skills and Experience
- Exposure to SAP systems and experience implementing solutions on a busy platform
- Previous employment in technology or consultative industries
- Experience with SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement (PSCD) or other industry‑specific FI‑CA such as Utilities, Telecoms, Insurance or SAP BRIM/Hybris Billing
- Experience with SAP TRM (Tax and Revenue Management)
- Experience with SAP ISU (SAP for Utilities)
- At least one full project life cycle and proven system support experience
- Excellent consulting and customer‑facing skills
- Knowledge of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements, management accounting techniques and integration touch points to other SAP modules
- Accountancy qualifications are a distinct advantage
- Problem and incident resolution, testing, documentation standards/methodology, interpersonal skills
- Previous SAP S/4HANA transformation experience is a major advantage
- SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FI‑CA or similar certification is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Tax and Revenue Management or FICA/PSCD is a plus
Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, you must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, you must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last five years, among other criteria and requirements. Some posts require sole UK national citizenship for security reasons.
