This role focuses on training and supporting customers in the safe and effective use of Varian radiotherapy systems, combining clinical background with a customer-facing role to improve patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality on-site and remote training on newly installed systems, upgrades, and product developmentsSupport customers in adapting clinical workflows and proposing innovative approaches post-installationDesign and deliver tailored training programs for Varian hardware and softwareParticipate in internal product testing and customer satisfaction evaluationsProvide clinical support for education, sales, marketing, and trade eventsAssist with internal staff training and knowledge sharingOffer helpdesk support to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiriesManage administrative tasks including training reports, time sheets, and expense documentationMaintain up-to-date certifications and competencies through ongoing trainingEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in travel, radiation, and electrical safetyPerform other duties as assigned to support the broader mission of Varian BusinessQualificationsEducation & ExperienceDiploma as a Medical Physicist or Professional Radiographer (Dosimetrist)Minimum 3 years’ experience in radio-oncology with radiotherapy equipmentExperience with Varian brachytherapy systems is highly desirableKnowledge & ExpertiseStrong understanding of clinical radiotherapy workflows and hospital environmentsProven ability to train adult learners, especially healthcare professionalsDeep appreciation of customer needs and the ability to tailor solutions accordinglySkills & AttributesFluent in English (written and spoken); German or Dutch is an advantageExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsHighly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projectsCreative problem-solving abilities and adaptability in changing environmentsWillingness to travel extensively, including outside normal working hours when neededWhy Join UsAt Varian Business, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team transforming cancer care.
