Application Support Team Lead - Glasgow or Edinburgh Hybrid - 38K + 10% Bonus

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office in either Central Edinburgh or Central Glasgow

What You'll Be Doing

You'll supervise and perform triage and response for incident management, resolve incidents hands-on as needed, ensure SLAs are met, handle escalations, coach and monitor team performance, drive continuous improvement of procedures, and carry out proactive maintenance tasks during quieter periods.

Tech Stack You'll Work With

  • Service desk operations (ticket management, ITIL)
  • System administration (Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server)
  • MS-SQL (ideally Azure SQL Database)
  • Scripting with PowerShell/Bash would be a plus

What We're Looking For

  • Previous track record of line management
  • Background in L1/L2 Application Support, ideally in a 24x7 environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
