Digital Services are looking to recruit an Application Support Manager on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

This role is part of the wider EPR solution and will be an exciting and challenging position, making a difference to staff and patients across Nottinghamshire.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively both within a team and independently.

The post holder will not have direct patient contact but will access confidential and sensitive patient information, requiring a standard level CRB check.

The main responsibilities include planning and implementing Digital Services software application projects, ensuring all changes to the Trust's main live systems are controlled and planned, in line with the Digital Services Change Request Policy. The post holder will become a subject matter expert for various digital applications and will lead larger projects with support from Application Officers.

This role offers opportunities across the Trust, involving involvement from scoping to delivery in a fast-paced environment.

NUH employs over 20,000 staff and promotes continuous skills and knowledge improvement. This is an exciting time to join Digital Services as we replace existing EPR systems and deploy digital solutions to support staff and processes for the next 5-10 years.

Currently, many Digital Service team members work remotely using loaned NUH equipment. On-site presence at City and QMC hospitals is required, with travel between sites. NUH is monitoring and may adjust the blended working approach in the future.
