A leading international architecture and design practice is seeking a Project Architect to join its London studio, working within its specialist data centre team. This is a full-time, in-office position offering the opportunity to work alongside a highly motivated and collaborative team on large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be a registered architect with strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate architectural and consultant construction documents
  • Review details, redlines, and conduct QA/QC checks
  • Develop creative design solutions within project parameters
  • Translate concepts into clear visual representations
  • Assist in managing project schedules and deliverables
  • Present technical solutions to stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Resolve design and technical challenges in coordination with the project manager
  • Apply current industry standards, codes, and construction practices
  • Conduct client presentations and manage client relationships
  • Participate in master planning and conceptual design
  • Ensure constructibility and budget alignment in design solutions

Qualifications

  • ARB registration required; RIBA Chartered Membership preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in commercial architecture
  • Proven experience managing teams on large-scale projects
  • Strong proficiency in Revit; experience with other 3D software advantageous
  • High attention to detail and commitment to QA/QC
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage project fees, schedules, and client expectations
  • Experience in master planning and technical design
  • Familiarity with BIM360/ACC desirable
