Architectural Technologist Job in London. Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of large-scale projects (c. £20m+) from inception to completion
- Assist in managing on-site projects and supporting senior colleagues in delegating to junior team members
- Produce full specifications and develop detailed technical design solutions
- Coordinate with consultants and contribute to the management of project delivery
- Support client engagement, presentations and ongoing relationship management
- Monitor compliance with legal and statutory requirements
- Assist with project finances including fees and profitability tracking
- Share knowledge with junior staff and contribute to wider practice learning
- Support business development and bid submissions where required
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience supporting the delivery of complex projects from design to completion
- Strong technical expertise with Revit and BIM workflows
- Ability to produce and manage detailed specifications and technical packages
- Experience coordinating consultants and contributing within project teams
- Awareness of MMC solutions, net zero carbon design and sustainable approaches
- Knowledge of refurbishment, repair, reuse and deconstruction strategies
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Dynamo scripting, NBS Chorus and education sector experience (desirable)
- Experience supporting remote outsourced delivery partners (desirable)
