Framework Area Sales Managers are expected to manage between 60-80 customers depending on geographical area. This includes a mix of end user, GPO, and Public Sector business. The main focus will be building strong relationships to unlock opportunities for growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Build and leverage strong customer relationships through a natural curiosity in the independent sector.
- Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
- Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
- Understand competitor activity & proposals, ensuring the best local solutions are offered to customers.
- Work with Framework Partners to onboard new business.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.
You should be highly service-focused, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, providing the best solutions to support and enhance their business. You need to be tenacious and resilient, a self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed, with demonstrable experience of delivering against targets. You should be self-motivated to develop yourself continuously, seeking improvement through leveraging diverse skills & experience and participating in Learning & Development programmes. There are opportunities to progress into various commercial roles to develop your career.
Confidence with our modernisation programme and new technology adoption is important. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not essential.
In return, we offer a base salary of £Competitive (DOE) along with uncapped bonus potential, a home-based contract, company car, additional holiday purchase options, and award-winning products at nearly cost price.
