Job Description:

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager responsible for winning and maximising independent foodservice business within your territory. Your role involves growing customer base, building relationships, onboarding new clients, and understanding competitor activity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve profitable volume growth through customer acquisition and retention.
2. Research and identify opportunities within your territory.
3. Develop strong customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and understanding their needs.
4. Onboard new customers effectively while maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
5. Partner with customers to understand their growth plans and offer practical solutions.
6. Monitor competitor activity and ensure competitive offerings.

Candidate Requirements:

Ideal candidates will be commercially astute, proficient in Excel, and skilled at building and maintaining relationships. A background in food is preferred but not essential. A strong desire for sales and an inclusive attitude are also important.
