Overview

Area Sales Manager - Social Housing. Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Ventilation Products to Social Housing. Industry Sector includes Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, HVAC, Ventilation Products, Social Housing, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, New Build, M&E Consultant, M&E Contractor, M&E, Building Services.

Area to be covered: Scotland. Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales) + discretionary annual bonus between £6,000 - £10,000. Benefits: hybrid or electric company car + comprehensive benefits packages.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems
• Focus on selling to social housing, local authorities and housing associations on both new build & refurbishment projects such as office blocks, apartment blocks, hotels, student accommodation etc as well as associated commercial projects
• Inheriting a well-established area turning over circa £1m-£1.5m
• Majority of time focused on generating new business relationships and getting more from neglected existing accounts
• Dealing with typical projects of around £50k - £500k depending on the size of the project

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must have sold to social housing, local authorities and housing associations
• Open in terms of what products you've sold
• Would consider an M&E consultant / contractor rep
• A team player who is highly organised
