The Role of Area Sales Manager

• This is a field / home based role managing existing accounts in the South East.
• Selling industrial / engineering products into distributors and manufacturers
• 50% of your time focused on OEM customers
• Engaging with a variety of stakeholders including Production Managers, Engineers, and Buyers
• As Area Sales Manager, you will focus on existing business, developing current accounts and converting warm inbound enquiries
• Tasked with growing a well performing area that has strong pre-existing relationships
• As Area Sales Manager, you will be supported by a technical and internal sales support team that will support you when you are out on the road
• You will receive on-tap support, while enjoying full autonomy to manage your diary and develop your area with the backing of a respected brand.

• Proven background in B2B sales, ideally with an industrial or engineering bias
• A practical thinker with a solutions-led approach to customer needs
• Strong and stable sales track record with consistent performance and territory development
• Dynamic, self-motivated, and able to work independently while being a team player
• Confident in managing a varied customer base and building long-term relationships

The Package on offer for the Area Sales Manager

• Basic salary up to 40,000 (dependent on experience)
• Uncapped quarterly bonus with realistic earnings of 10-12K
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
