As an Assessment Support Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of specifications, managing the creation, approval, and quality assurance of assessment materials, supporting regulatory compliance, and collaborating with external and internal teams.

You will be part of a team committed to quality, continuous improvement, and ensuring assessments are fit for purpose.

Summary

Assessment Support Managers provide expertise in GQ assessment. They manage and ensure the quality of assessment materials for a small, low-risk portfolio, supporting compliance and quality assurance activities, including creation, review, and approval of assessment content, and managing external associates involved in assessment development.

Each year, we produce and quality-assure over 2,000 assessment artifacts, which are used by hundreds of thousands of students globally. The team ensures assessments are valid, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards, collaborating across departments to promote assessment excellence.

The role involves managing assessment specifications, quality assuring assessment materials, overseeing production processes, and supporting the grading and moderation activities. You will also be involved in recruitment, deployment, and management of external assessment creators, contributing to assessment review and responding to assessment-related inquiries and issues.

To succeed, you should have a strong understanding of assessment practices, excellent communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and a good grasp of data and regulatory environments. A proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
