Job Title: Asset Lifecycle Lead
Daily Rate: Up to £500 inside IR35
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: 6 months FTC (could extended to 9 months)
Working Pattern: Hybrid with travel to Birmingham by-monthly, 37 hours 9am to 5pm Mon - Fri

About the Role
As the Asset Lifecycle Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Engineering team, ensuring the strategic management of all metering assets. Your leadership will shape our Asset Management Policy and ensure we meet all safety, financial, and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and control of metering assets, ensuring a robust and safe asset portfolio.
- Lead a high-performance team focused on continuous improvement and value creation.
- Drive the delivery of ISO 55001 recertification and conduct risk analysis.
- Make informed asset investment decisions based on condition and whole life costs.
- Foster strong external relationships to influence policy and enhance collaboration across teams.
- Manage third-party service partners while ensuring compliance with our standards.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in asset lifecycle management and team leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of UK legislation and standards for gas metering.
- Strong risk management and project management skills.
- Technical expertise combined with commercial acumen.
- Desire to pursue or hold registration with relevant professional bodies (IAM, IGEM, IMechE, ICorr).
