Job Title: Asset Management Full Stack Development Lead (ETF Platform)

Location: London (4 days on site per week)

Salary/Rate: £650-900 Per Day Inside IR35

Start Date: 29/09/2025

Job Type: Initial 1 Year Contract

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an experienced Development Lead with a strong engineering background and deep expertise in Asset Management. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can deliver high-impact solutions, guide teams, and engage closely with stakeholders across investment, operations, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading full stack application development, driving technology solutions across global investment teams, and owning the production environment operations and applications to support portfolio management and trading.
  • Work across investment technology stacks, engage directly with global stakeholders across investment, operations, products and wider technology teams, and help drive technology solutions that support portfolio management and trading
  • Drive full stack application development using modern technologies across cloud-native and hybrid architectures
  • Own the production environment operations and applications

Required Skills/Experience

  • 10 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a lead role
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional delivery in a matrix environment
  • Strong command of full stack development:
    • JavaScript (React/Angular)
    • Node.js or Java/.NET/Python
    • SQL
  • Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services: Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Prior experience working in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Wealth Management
  • Experience with ETF platforms and fund lifecycle processes

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of front office platform and workflows: OMS, PMS, and risk engines
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, and event-driven architecture
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting, ESG data pipelines, or performance attribution systems
