Opportunity for an Intermediate Planner to join our Life Science Team in London.
About the role
The Assistant Planner supports Planners, Senior Planners, and the Regional Planner with the planning and programming of the design, procurement, and construction activities associated with the works. To support the programme and planning management for the team in the preconstruction and construction phases.

Responsibilities
- Support the senior planners in defining the current programme position on all projects they are working on weekly/monthly.
- Regularly review programmes, outputs, and phasing with the senior planners.
- Help develop tracking schedules to maintain information and control the production of programmes by subcontractors.
- Support in developing the baseline contract programme, covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover, with full logic linking and a critical path.
- Ensure planning assumptions and decisions incorporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Support in developing construction methodology to demonstrate techniques and sequencing for safe project delivery.
Required Experience
- 5+ years experience
- Membership of relevant professional body, where applicable
- Experience working within a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Degree or diploma in construction management
- Basic ASTA Powerproject Training – Introduction to ASTA Powerproject
