Now Hiring: Assistant Ecologist
Full-Time | Hybrid (Office + WFH) | £25,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata)
Newcastle

We're looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join a growing, values-driven consultancy that genuinely cares about environmental impact.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering ecological surveys (bats, newts, badgers, birds, and more), managing subcontractors, and supporting on Ecological Clerk of Works tasks. You will also work with maps, data, reports, and occasionally handle wellington boots in the field.

This role is suitable if you have:

1. Solid consultancy experience (essential)
2. Survey experience & protected species knowledge
3. CIEEM Grad membership (or working towards it)
4. A full UK driving licence
5. Report writing experience (e.g., PEAs and PRAs) is highly advantageous
