This role supports the online trading team within the Mobile category on currys.co.uk and carphonewarehouse.com. The focus is on maximizing online commercial performance using data sources like web analytics on traffic, conversion, and order value to generate insights, actions, and improvements.
Role overview:
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting growth against budget and increasing market share.
- Conducting daily and weekly trading reports and analysis, transforming data into actionable insights.
- Preparing monthly reports and conducting deep dives into trading performance with analyst support.
- Collaborating with online merchandising, design, marketing, and buying teams to plan and launch promotions smoothly.
- Creating competitor reports to identify risks and opportunities, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Supporting Monday reporting, period reviews, QBRs, and supplier meetings; maintaining an overview of the category.
- Managing homepage, universe, and category organization, prioritizing GTM strategies, and post-launch optimization based on data insights.
- Maintaining relationships with merchandising, handling PLP housekeeping, link updates, stickers, AVM, and terms.
- Working with marketing channels to promote deals, optimize text ads, stay competitive in affiliate markets, and explore new opportunities.
This role collaborates closely with commercial, marketing, and ecommerce teams to drive category performance aligned with strategy and manage day-to-day website trading.

- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with web analytics, preferably Omniture.
