Our client, a reputable organisation specialising in civil engineering projects, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis. • Assist the Senior Estimator in preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to compile comprehensive bills of quantities.
• Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Support in the assessment of project risks and constructability issues.
• Maintain detailed records of tenders and estimating processes.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure estimates are aligned with project specifications and budgets.
• Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals and tender reports.

• Previous experience in civil engineering estimating or a related role.
• Knowledge of civil engineering processes, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure.

• Up to GBP40k, DOE
• Car Allowance/Company Car
• Hybrid working
