We craft extraordinary ice cream experiences that transform ordinary moments into lasting memories.Note: The deadline for applying is 23.59 the day before the job posting end date.Job purposeThe Ice Cream Assistant HRBP for Colworth will act as a lead for end-to-end HR supporting RD&I teams based in Colworth in The Magnum Ice Cream Company\'s RD&I Global Centre. This person will sit at the center of the HR engine and will have strong relationships with our other HRBPs, Talent Partners, People Partners, and employees. They must also be able to positively influence the employees\' experience at critical points in their career.Key responsibilitiesStakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to gain buy-in and support for proposed changes. Work with department heads and team leaders to ensure that organisational changes align with functional needs.Performance Management: Support performance management processes including end-of-year assessments for employees.Organization Development: Support business leaders and HRBPs in the implementation of their organization, for example, position management, OVHs/cost control.Support Ice Cream HR Strategic People Agenda: Work with HRBPs and Leaders to create and deliver project plans for managing any change programmes and reorganisations.Employee relations: Take a proactive approach to employee relations, reviewing data and spotting trends, recommending solutions and coaching Line Managers to take appropriate actions.HR Collaboration: Work side-by-side with teams across HR (HRBPs, Payroll, Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition, etc.), providing support and subject matter expertise to address queries or problems.Site initiatives: Lean into central teams People Agenda topics when needed, helping shape and drive some of the site initiatives.What you need to succeedSkills: Able to connect the dots on all things HR and its impact on the wider business; the ability to step back and view the bigger picture is essential.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building trust and confidence, with the ability to influence.Ability to influence strategic deliverables in a matrixed organisation.Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously.Experience of employee relations and case management, including knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.Experience in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy; comfortable having difficult conversations and working professionally with sensitive information.A natural collaborator who works well as part of a team and is prepared to pitch in to drive growth while protecting the company from risk.What you can expectA unique mix of global scale and start-up spirit: a €8.3bn powerhouse with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset as we build a new high-growth Ice Cream company from the ground up.Career without limits: opportunities across 42 markets with international exposure and fast-tracked growth.A performance-driven culture: freedom to act, disrupt and grow, with impact as the measure of success.A company that celebrates joy, innovation and purpose: we create extraordinary careers as our ice cream creates extraordinary moments.About Unilever and The Magnum Ice Cream CompanyUnilever is a global leader with sales in over 190 countries and more than 400 brands including Dove, Tresemme, Lynx, Lifebuoy, Persil, Ben & Jerry\'s, Magnum, Marmite, and Ben & Jerry\'s.
