We're looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Transportation team based in London N9. What will you be responsible for

As an Assistant HR Business Partner sitting under the banner of the Kier Transportation HR team, you will be ensuring a good understanding of business issues and how HR can add value on employee engagement, career management, talent management, people development as well as ensuring the wellbeing of our people.

Your day to day will include

  • Partnering with line managers and supervisors in the relevant contracts to resolve day to day issues and to implement good people management practices, setting high standards of service.
  • To assist in supporting formal grievances and disciplinary situations - assessing risk, supporting line managers with investigations and liaising with relevant members of the divisional HR team and the central HR functions on complex matters.
  • Support HR Business Partner with key business projects, restructure, TUPE transfers and change management.
  • Being pro-active in communicating key HR activities and processes to all managers and staff, including running briefing sessions.

You are CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation or the equivalent in HR experience.

Knowledge and experience of delivering TUPE.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, Disability Confident.
