Assistant Management Accountant - Leeds | £30,000 to £35,000 | Hybrid | plus full study support and a development plan.

Axon Moore are delighted to be working in collaboration with a high growth company based in South Leeds to recruit an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• Support business partnering across the business
• Working with commercial and operational teams to understand financial activity
• Support budgeting and financial reporting
• Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting of key variances to management, working closely with commercial and operational teams
• Assist with Analysis of P&L variances
• Assistance with annual external audit
• Other ad-hoc duties and cover for team members as required

Requirements / The Successful Candidate Will

• Be studying towards a qualification - ACA, CIMA or ACCA or be AAT Qualified and looking to take the next steps
• Commercially astute
• Driven to improve processes and improved ways of working
• Driven and motivated
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills - able to build relationships and work collaboratively
• Organised and able to work accurately
• Professional and engaging
