Job Description
The Treasury and Reporting team forms part of Deloitte's Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory practice and specialises in partnering with Financial Services clients undergoing regulatory or strategic change. We provide specialist advisory support delivered by subject matter experts across three core client offerings: (i) Regulatory, (ii) Data & Technology, and (iii) Operating Models, Process & Controls.
Roles and responsibilities include delivering client engagements focusing on prudential regulation across capital and liquidity, and providing in-depth skills and expertise in both technical and practical understanding of the regulatory framework. The roles will have responsibility for:
- Working with a range of client stakeholders, developing and maintaining deep industry relationships and knowledge
- Contributing to the development and growth of the practice by sharing knowledge and supporting team development
- Leading client projects by managing client relationships, shaping scope and engagement plans, managing team members and engagement financials, and overseeing high-quality deliverables
- Co-ordinating internal practice development through proposition, methodology and knowledge-sharing activities
- Establishing and building a network of contacts across Deloitte and client networks
- Developing proposals for new client opportunities and contributing to industry and account initiatives

You will deliver client engagements focusing on the Treasury Transformation and Regulatory Reporting, ensuring solution-oriented outcomes in partnership with clients. By joining Deloitte, you will:

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with market-leading Financial Services organisations in Treasury, Liquidity or Capital, including ability to assess and challenge drivers of capital and liquidity-related risks
- Strong understanding of the SREP and ICAAP/ILAAP under EBA and PRA regulatory requirements
- Mandatory Capital or Liquidity knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements
- Capital markets and/or wholesale banking knowledge from previous roles
- Experience in regulatory capital or liquidity across regulatory reporting/policy, finance, treasury or risk
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance or Risk preferred
- Technical designation in Accounting, Risk or Finance (CFA, CA, MBA, FRM) advantageous
- Excellent oral and written communication and client/stakeholder relationship management
- Experience developing junior staff and mentoring
- Strong analytical and project management skills; experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in transformation engagements
- Delivery track record for regulatory and/or strategic change
- Attention to detail with ability to manage a demanding workload
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of building senior stakeholder relationships
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders at and above Director level
- Excellent interpersonal skills and credibility with client and project teams
- Creative thinking, ability to challenge status quo, and delivery against ambitious requirements
- Proactive mindset to take responsibility and drive actions forward
