As our Assistant People Business Partner - North, you'll collaborate with the Lead Business Partner to deliver dynamic people strategies that fuel our growth. Dive into exciting projects on inclusion, health, and motivation, while supporting our 5 key people experiences:

  • Attract: Partner with recruitment to draw top talent (especially early careers) and ensure seamless pre-employment journeys.
  • Welcome: Champion new starters with check-ins and admin support for a standout onboarding.
  • Perform: Coach managers on objectives, feedback, performance, attendance, and wellbeing to boost team success.
  • Grow: Drive development plans, innovation, and learning activities to unlock potential and careers.
  • Goodbye: Handle transitions and exits with empathy, plus analyse trends from exit interviews.
  • Analyse data and apply technical skills in a practical "people first" way while travelling across the North West, Yorkshire and North East to build connections.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • A passionate HR generalist who can build fantastic relationships at all levels. Hands-on, resilient, and discreet - ready to build trust at every level. You thrive in fast-paced commercial settings, juggling priorities with a positive, can-do vibe.
  • Proven HR adviser experience in delivery.
  • Adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Comfort with admin and changing workloads.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • (Desirable) CIPD qualified (or working towards it).
