About The Role
This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to deliver research in battery cell sensing, BMS development and characterisation, as part of an established and highly successful team, working in collaboration with an established UK industrial automotive partner.
Flexible Working
- We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.
About You
• PhD (or close to submission) in a relevant subject, and experience of the theory and practice of sensor development, wireless communication and embedded electronics.
• Experience of battery system development including experimental assessment/characterisation of battery technology.
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of a research team with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Undertaken complimentary research or development in one or more of the above areas and able to demonstrate capability through appropriate academic experience.
