Assistant Quantity Surveyor [1122966]

Keegans are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Employers Agent. This is a full-time/permanent position in London with a Hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in quantity surveying duties including pre and post contract, cost reporting, cost planning, tender preparation, on-site valuations, and interim payment applications.
  2. Assist as an Employer’s Agent in contract administration, including instructions, meetings, and coordination.
  3. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information for project success.
  4. Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects.
  5. Develop knowledge and skills through CPD activities and stay updated on relevant legislation affecting quantity surveying and employer’s agent roles.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. A relevant university degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience as a trainee/assistant Quantity Surveyor.
  3. Experience as a trainee/assistant Employer’s Agent is desirable.
  4. Experience working on residential properties is essential.
  5. Knowledge of working with local authorities or housing associations/developers is desirable.
  6. Knowledge of fire remediation, education, or leisure sectors is desirable.
  7. Working towards MRICS/MCIOB membership.
